The price of Bitcoin briefly hit a two-year low before recovering, with the cryptocurrency sector under pressure as crypto lender Genesis seeks to raise cash.
Bitcoin hit a low of $15,480 according to CoinDesk data, before rallying to climb above $16,000 on Tuesday. Its fall briefly sent it lower than the levels of near $15,500 reached in the immediate aftermath of the collapse of the FTX exchange.
